Buying a Honda CRV?

Hi

I'm thinking of buying a Honda CRV in a couple of months. I want to use it as part van and part car as I am a plumber/bathroom fitter but cannot afford to run both.

I would be grateful for any comments for or against buying one of these vehicles. Also, is there a 2WD version available?

Generally excellent bits of kit, these.....they normally work in FWD mode all of the time, and the RWD only cuts in when the FWD loses grip.
There is an extra clutch in the transmission to do this, and Honda have faffed around with different oil grades to get it to work correctly.
Other than diesel variants using copious amounts of oil at times, thats all I know about them - but they've been around since 1997 I think.
Some of the early ones are showing their age but they still command good money.
It all depends on how much you want to spend, really.
