Hello
Can I put two 6x2 joists, in joist hangers that are literally side by side. To support a bearer joist [7cm vertical x 20cm horizontal], that is under my hallway floor?
Or would two joist hangers that close together stress the walls/ wall holes too much?
The joist hangers would be fixed with 60 or 75mm anchor sleeves bolts.
The house was built in the 1920/30s. the hallway floor is over a cellar. the walls i would hang the joist hangers on are 130cm apart, and are 1920/30s brick on one side, and stone of the other side.
[The bearer is too tricky for me to move/ replace. And i do not have the money to call in a professional]
Thanks
