Can the blending valve be related to tap pressure?

Hi all,

I am having a few problems with my Grant Combi 90, which I am going to post later (when my baby is in bed), but I just have a quick question at the moment which I wondered if anybody could answer?

I have recently had the blending valve changed on the above boiler, because the water was coming out either scalding hot or freezing cold. Since it has been replaced the temperature is fine, but the pressure is really low (the pressure at the tap / flow rate - not system pressure). Is there a logical reason for this - as I don't really understand how the blending valve fits in with the whole system.

Any help would be much appreciated.
