Its how long is a piece of string that one ,
How big the area ,
are you doing the work ...ARE YOU COMPETENT ??????? ;)

if just wet room construction
check out Impey wet rooms
http://www.impey-uk.com/aqua_dec/index.php

or your own prefab construction BAL WP1 one ,which I would do .... (note : if you are a novice Diyer go with impey prefab )

hope this helps

sorry admin :)
for the links here not advert ,just advice ;)

The area is about 2m x 3m. I am a relative novice at DIY, but I would lie to do it myself.

Is it a hard job, would you reccomend getting someone in to do it.

All I want to do is probably just tile it at the end. Get someone to do the construction. Based on this do you know any ballpark prices?

Thanks for your advice.

as you are a yorkie porkie , me a Manc ,lol :)
I know you "watch your money", lol :)

get three seperate quotes from local Plumbing firms ,NOT FRANCHISE

ask them to list money on construction , are they using preformed bases or building them ,BAL WP1 "roll on method "
this lets them you know about wet room basics ,
then report back ,
I cannot say 5 k , an find you yorkies killing your 1st borne in shock/horror , lol

without a set rule to the works needed
hope this helps fella ;)
