My central heating is not working. The radiators are fine, and the boiler is heating the water correctly. Any ideas ? I think maybe the pump has stuck. If so, how would I correct this ? Any ideas much appreciated as my other half is moaning !

thanks
Neil

I think you just give the pump a good whack but you might want to wait for someone more knowledgeable to come along.

Bleed the pump by taking the screw out of the middle until water escapes.

Put a small screwdriver in to check it is turning. :D

So whats the problem

Normally the boiler will shut down if the pump isn't working.

I would guess an motorized valve has stuck.

Boiler make/model, type of system etc would be handy
