Hi everbody I have a potterton prima boiler it runs hot water and central heating. My problem is when its been running cental heating,it gets air in the system but i cannot find any leaks. If left to stand say overnight when it starts you can hear the pump straining.someone suggested sludge but does this create air. im new to this plumbing lark so all info would be most appreciated. Thank you

sludge can create air, it can be drawing air through vent pipe.
if its straining it could be on it's last legs.
check the bottom of your f/e tank in loft for sludge in bottom.
