I have layed some ceramic black "slate effect" floor tiles in my bathroom, but cannot get them clean. I chose them as I was told they were easy to maintain, and was also told it was not necessary to seal them by the people who I bought them from. The surface of the tile is rough and is impossible to keep clean. I have tried all sorts of tile cleaner to no avail, aswell as ordinary soap and water. Does anybody have any ideas what I can do next, I am already thinking off ripping them all up and starting again!
