Hi
I have a new CH system complete with an oil fired condensing Grant boiler plus radiators. System was thoroughly flushed with Fernox Restorer then protected with Fernox MB1.
The manual states that the CH output temp ranges from 65 deg C to 80 deg C.
Noted tonight that even after an hour the CH flow temp did not go above 40 deg C - used clip on thermometer. Got suspicious when I could hold onto the pipe without much discomfort.
Bled quite a bit of air out of the system and the sealed pressure dropped to 0.5 bar. WIll need to charge it back to 1 bar in the morning.
Any suggestions as to why the output temp is low ? Obvious one would be the boiler control stat ?
Cheers
