I have been replacing my light sockets and I have run into a problem. in the lounge I have a double dimmer switch- double switch and single switch- THe dimmer switch works the hall light and lounge light. The double switch works the lounge light and the landing light and the single switch works the lounge light. When I connected the switches the hallway light worked and the landing light worked but I can only work the lounge light through the dimmer switch.
The single switch has four red wires, two are live. two are not. There are six wires behind the double switch 3 red and three black. there are fours wires behind the dimmer switch 2 red and 2 black and a loop. Can anyone help me to wire the lights properly to get it working.
