choosing room thermostat

i have a potterton combi 80 and i would like to know if i can have a remote room thermostat ? and how to choose it ? i would prefer wired but wireless is ok too.

You can have just about any roomstat on the market with that. The more you pay, the better the unit.
Sunvic is the worst, Siemens the best, and since they had the balls up with their wireless stats a few years ago, I've never touched a Drayton again.

What should I look for in the thermostat ? Or are the all pretty much standard as for compatibility ?

All a wireless roomstat does, is open and close a contact. Some are just more versatile and reliable than others.
