clothes not clean

can any one help, my clothes dont come out of the washing machine clean.
machine fills. takes powder, drum turns, pump works, machine is emptying, cycles appear to be running, so why are the clothes dirty ?
help please.

not sure. how do i check ?
i thought if the heater didnt work the machine wold constantley run and wont change to rinse until the stat reaches correct temp ?

if it doesn't work the water will be cold during the wash cycle you can detect this with your hand on the glass

what temp wash are you using setting? Not a cold one, presumably?

depending on make and model . to test mc put mc on 90 degrees wait for 15 mins you should here hissing noise from the dispenser or feel the glass is it warm .

only 40 degree. ill try hotter and see if heater working.
if not heater any other ideas ?
