Hi Im busy working on my old farm cottage, and now that Ive got oil fired combi boiler CH system in, I dont need the old back boiler thats behind the coal fire place, is it best to remove or leave in situ?

Not desperatly keen on removing it to be honest and spoiling the fireplace, but would do it if I really have to.

If not removing what should I do as regards of leaving it in place?

Ta in advance.

Drain it and leave in place also most important put a hole in casting, because if there is any water in it and the pipes get sealed it becomes a bomb when fire is lit.
