Cold water supply under floor

Our utility room is built where the garage used to be, so the subfloor is solid concrete, then 75mm foam insulation, then 22mm chipboard on top.

The sink, washing machine, hot & cold water supply is on one side of the utility, and I would like to extend the cold water supply to the other side of the room for a plumbed in american fridge freezer.

Am I ok putting the cold water supply in a channel at the top of the 75mm insulation before replacing the chipboard floor? If not, what would be the best way?

It may be an idea to create a wooden channel to ensure it's supported and the foam can't give way and avoid the pipe being compressed.
