can anybody tell me how large would a c w tank have to be if it were only feeding a hot water cylinder? i plan to put the rest of the bath etc on mains so as to create loft space.
i have a convensional boiler and c h system and am aware that i can use a coffin tank in the eves but what is the smallest i can get away with?
will the 15mm mains fill a small header tank faster than a 22mm pipe can draw it off?
thanks for your replies in advance
ken.

Depends on your hot water usage. You may get away with 100 litre cistern.
You should have another cistern if conventional system feeding your CH.
15 mm will be ok feeding your cistern :)
