Hi, I'm new here so if this is a repeat, sorry!
I'm painting my house at the moment and have a two colour theme for most rooms. Most walls are in a light colour and an alcove wall in a darker one. The problem is, the joins. I've tried masking tape to try and create a clean line between the two, but it doesn't work! I've also tried a piece of wood with a straight edge. Does anyone have any advice? I can't find anything on net either!!

You can buy special tape for masking paint off...I think its in B an Q etc...

Masking tape definatly wont work..nor will shields

The other thing might work for you is insulating tape...you may be lucky and it wont pull the paint off below it..make sure you remove it quickly after painting

But I must be honest the best way to get a decent line is a good brush and a bit of practice and patience
