Combi Boiler Air Lock

When I turn on my shower after about 1 min the pipework starts to bang as if there is a air lock but when I turn on another hot water tap in the bath room with the shower running the banging stops. I have a combi boiler hot water system and need to know how to remove an air lock from it as I think this is the problem.
