Hi all,

I am putting up a fence in my garden. I want to use concrete posts but do not want to "slot" in fence panels. I want to attach rails to the concrete posts and then nail feather boards to it.

I recently came across a youtube video where they attached rails to the concrete posts with bolts. The post already had holes in it I think. I have tried looking these type of post but with not much luck.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

P.S. I already have a feather edge fence panel on the opposite side of my garden so want to keep both of them looking the same.

Thanks,

Shaz

Wickes concrete posts (540063) have two drilled holes......I'd recommend hunting down a pre drilled post if you can - the reinforcing bars in posts can make drilling very difficult, and fracture likely.
