Condensation on wall from soil stack

I have condensation forming on an interior wall just where a soil stack runs through the wall. Are there any suggestions for handling this?

I'm considering replacing the existing cast iron pipe with plastic (to minimize the heat transfer) and insulating the cavity where the pipe travels.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
