I have a ground floor flat with restrictive double glazing.
Find it difficult to open windows due to security but also because Double Glazed Windows are virtually sealed up.
As a result, there is massive amounts condensation in the flat and mould builds up in my room all the time. Problem is so bad, that clothes in my wardrobe, if not worn will just get covered in mould.
Had two damp proof specialists in to check out the property, and both said its the lack of ventilation.
The last damp proof guy suggested I install a de-humidifer type device that attaches to wall. But haven't been able to get hold of him after his visit few weeks ago. Does anyone have any good suggestions for any reliable de-humidifiers or anything that basically gets rid of condensation?
I don't mind spending money to get a "heavy duty" humidifier that can reduce the level of condensation in the property.
Many Thanks as always.
