The bathroom ceiling pull switch (which operates two ceiling lights) has snapped and I am trying to replace it (this is in a ten year old house). There is insufficient cord left so I will have to replace the whole thing. The existing ceiling fitting has a black wire to one of two A1 terminals, a red wire to a COM terminal and a green/yellow earth to an earth terminal. There are two unused A2 terminals.

The replacement I have bought is a 1-way ceiling switch and has four terminals, COM, L1 (this is unused), L2 and earth.

Presumably I connect red to COM, black to L2 and green/yellow to earth, is thatall there is to it?
