Hi,
I have isolated the cooker hood as the cause of the RCD tripping.
It started today, when I was able to switch the RCD back on. Then it tripped after a short while. Now, as soon as I switch it back on at the socket, it trips.
There are no signs of moisture around the socket or conduit. It has a light on it, but I'm guessing that, if the bulb had gone it wouldn't cause the unit to trip the RCD (confirmation needed!).
What should I check next?
Many thanks in advance.
