cooker tripping out all electrics

Hello, I recently moved home and had my cooker installed but when I turn any of the knobs it trips out the power the cooker is only 2 year old and worked fine in my old house a friend disconnected the cooker cable and the electric is working(the cooker stays on just as long you dont touch the knobs) we triede all the other appliances and the power stays on what do i do?

What exactly is tripping? an RCD? (post an annotated photo if you don't understand the terminology)

If it is an RCD thats tripping i suspect either
1: the cooker has been leaky a while but there was no RCD in the old house
2: the cooker was stored somewhere damp and/or not used for a while during the move and damp got in somewhere.
