Hello all.
Our neighbours have had some work done recently, and I just wondered where we stand on a couple of things.
First off, we do get on with these neighbours, so dont wish to fall out.
Originally, at the bottom of the garden our garage joined theirs.
Our neighbours (with all relevant planning) pulled down their half, and have built a bigger one (higher than ours).
#1. There is a gap between our garage and there new one (approx 4"). Should this gap be bridged? I'm worried about leaves / debris building up causing damp.
#2. When their garage was being built, the builder broke a few of our garage roof panels ( corrugated asbestos).
He agreed to replace these, so no grief there.
Yesterday when we were out, the builder came round to fix the roof. He has put new roof panels on. But he hasn't taken the broken ones off. just screwed the new ones over the old broken ones.
Normal practice? or Taking the p**s?
Thanks in advance.
