That one was straight into a concrete wall. No give in the wall structure, so the car took all the deformation. Not many real car crashes are into a flat concrete wall. No doubt all of the other cars in the film would have suffered similar devastation, but their tests were not equal. Lots of the crashes showed cars going into deformable structures at the corner of the vehicle.
 
The Plane crashing with fireball test is the "NASA 707 Crash test" held in 1984 to see if "anti-misting kerosene would significantly reduce the risk of fire". It did not (in part because plane crashed in a more violent manner than expected).

Note the 'razors' to cut the fuel tanks in the wings open, and that wiki suggests that quarter of the passengers would have survived.
