My creda dryer makes a ticking sound when i turn the dryer on sometimes it works fine but sometimes it doesn't work at all just makes the ticking sound. I have looked at the belt and it is ok the motor seems fine as far as i can tell, i did take the timer out and there was a lot of fluff in it so took it all out and that seemed to get it working for a while. Now it just stops working every now and then if i leave it for about 1 hour or so it will work again could it be the timer that is coursing this?
