Cutting door frames

Hi

Thought i'd ask this while the Mrs is watching Jane Ayre

We're planning on laying new laminate or wood flooring on the ground floor (through lounge/diner) and I want it to go under the door frames rather than cut around them, but i've never done it, or seen it done, so just need couple of tips on the do's and dont's

To avoid using beading, i'll be replacing all the skirting too
