So part of my internal wall is damp around the bay window. I got time to look up at ladder recently and it's a bit of a mess but I'm not sure where to start? Our house is 1901 sandstone thick walls. I'm assuming the pink pointing is cement of some kind so will need to go. Not sure what the hole in the top right is about but obviously doesn't help matters. Where the drain of the flat bay window meets the gutter there is a small drip which splashes onto the wall which is possibly contributing to making the wall damp.

It seems to me that you have a small flat roof with no gutter. So the water just runs off it. There used to be a gutter.
