Different types of conservatory roof

Morning.

I originally posted this question in "building", but I sadly had no replies. I have now posted it in this section hoping that this is where the installers might hang out.................


I am just going throught the process of getting quotes for a 4m x 6m double hipped conservatory.

The quotes are coming in @ around £10,500-11,000. (minus plastering/electrics/plumbing)

My question is one company uses a K2 roof, the second company advised me that they were rubbish and to use a Wendland roof, the third uses a Sureframe roof (I think that is what he said).

Can anyone advise me what is the difference, or is a roof a roof.

I envisage the roof to be made from 35mm polycarbonate.

Have a look at Ultraframe roof system which I have on my conservatory, my 4m beams was so heavy and well built plus I allow to walk on it! The ultra frame roof have a seperate 10 yrs warranty from my conservatory
