When working out the max demand, what is the figure for sockets? 0.5 amps per socket sticks in my mind, cant find my OSG. Is it per socket regardless of if a double or single. Can someone confirm or put me right. If wrong tell me where correct info is please. Many thanks.

From memory, I think it's 100% of the first circuit and 40% of the rest. Personally I think that's a bit OTT, it's unlikely that there will be 32A of load even through all the socket circuits at any one time.
unless its a computer circuit when you have to consider earth leakage current and section 607
