DIY Plumbing

Hi,

Could anyone tell me if plumbing in general can be carried out by a DIY, and that only the gas side of things can't? For example fitting hot water tank, cold water storage tank, shower pump!

Plumbing wise yes, wiring in the pump legally no but technically yes.

Just ask plenty of questions on here to make sure that:
a) you don't do anything stupid and kill someone (drown or scald)
b) you don't breach any regs
