Water is soft here....no scale..go 20miles to hartlepool and you can take a hammer and chisel to calorifiers every 3 month...inches thick of scale.

And to answer your question....combis now..many of them are in the bin before 10years cos they are so crap....unlike some back boilers still going from the 70s....if thats progress...good economics and saving the planet...then im a donkeys backside......eee. awwww!!!!!!
