I have bought my first flat and the bathroom floor tiles are not level and the grouting is all manky (very technical term! :D ). Is there any way to level the tiles and then put down new flooring?

I saw in Screwfix a floor levelling screed product and wondered if I could use this and then lay vinyl tiles over the top? I cannot afford to replace/change the floor tiles and bathroom suite so thought this may be the best option?

All suggestions warmly welcomed!

Many thanks for your reply. Glad to know I was on the right track - just need to rope my Dad into helping me with another job now!! :D

Yep, aren't dad's just marvellous! ;) Just be careful of the ones that think they know what they're doing, cause when the job goes t*ts up, they take a back step and go to the pub.
