I am buying new pine doors for my flat and as such will need new door frames as the other ones have layers and layers of paint on.

Is it a hard job to replace the frames and what sort of cost am I looking at?

Many thanks

mmmm its probably easier to strip unless the frame is in a really badly chewed up way and your going to varnish
as you'll have to replace the door frame [lining] the architrave the doorstop the decor surrounding and a few lumps off plaster that fall out as well

as opposed to replacing a few hinge pockets and a couple off dents and holes in the wood ;)
