just a genreal knowlege on for the experienced.
i believe some flues have down draft divertors, most common with back boilers.
if a old flue has a down draft divertor with new applainces fiited, the products that may spill at one time or another would surely end up stuck in the chimney well would it not. i know that it is acceptable with adequate sealing of bottom end of flue but why is deemed safe to leave down draft divertor flues in instead of single flexi flue being fitted.
