Recently the Hot Water has stopped working when I activate it using the control panel, I think it is because the actuator has stopped working correctly as it won't turn the valve spigot. Can I ask the experts or those with experience of these, is this actuator an easy thing to replace myself as a total novice or should I employ a gasman?

many thanks.

On a mid position valve the boiler will fire for HW regardless of valve position.

I would suggest the fault lies elsewhere in the system. Do you have a multimeter at all and we can run through a few basic checks?

thanks for the prompt reply petit_pablo.

Unfortunately I don't have a multimeter, I will have to purchase one and get back to you !

& just for your info you don't have a gravity hot water/heating system ;)
