Hi I want to install a metal drive gully system in my drive . I have a grid in the drive at the moment where I want to install the gully. I just wanted to know wether I can take the grid out and connect the gully system to the pipe that goes into the soil drains in the ground.

Yes but you'll need to fit a trap with a rodding point to stop any smells coming up from the drain.

That may be against the water regulations.

That is rainwater waste and you can only put it into a rainwater waste system.

You can put it ito the soil drain system if you are on a single drain system which is usually only on properties built before 1948.
