Hi. I'm looking for some tips and information on how to dryline a wall between a bedroom and a garage.

The bedroom wall has a coving so would I be better off drylining the garage side of the wall.

Thanks in advance.

no problem with insulating the 'cold' side. foil tape all joints regards the insulation. fully skim fireline boards. ;)

When insulating a wall it is always best to insulate on the cold side and in this case you need at least two inches to make it worth while.
Make sure to use a closed cell insulation like polystyrene or simler and make sure there are no holes or gaps where the heat can escape, fix the insulation directly to the wall using some form of plaster. If you leave holes or gaps the water vapour in the room will head for the cold patch on the wall and you will end up with a damp wall.
