Getting to the stage of fixing (still to order) Celotex TD4126 to the ply deck on my flat roof.

How do you attach the facia boards to the edge of insulation board this thick?
Would it be a case of just fixing the board to the joist ends/sides below it or should it be contained in a timber border of some sort.
It seems difficult to fix the facia direct to the insulation.
I hope this make sense....thanks.

I am no expert - this is my first post - however I recently did this very job on my new garage.

From my reading I found that it is typical to use a timber boarder as you suggest, but if you are using 100mm celtoex as I did, then you need some substantial timber, plus you've got to work out how to attach it to the deck.

I had some 5x1 lengths lying around, so what I did was fix these lengths to the joists at 100mm proud of the deck to make a border to hold in the insulation.

I'm sure this is far from the correct method, but it worked for me!
