Currently have 2 systems in house (3 bedroom, 3 person family, bath and seperate shower).
The central heating and all other than shower are supplied by Gloworm Combi Boiler. The water flow takes ages to fill a bath and also several minutes of cold water before any heated water. The central heating seems to keep house warm (possibly too warm).
The second system is an emersion heated water tank in roof for shower alone.

This seems to be rather wasteful of heat and water. I am looking at converting to one conventional boiler type and megaflow. Any recommendations would be useful ( worcester boilers seem to come recommended)

One combi of 35 kw or more will do the trick nicely if you choose a good brand and have it installed properly. More reliable and more economical to install and to run than system with tank. Worcester and vailant will give more than enough hot water to supply two bathrooms.

You won't be able to run a bath and have a shower at the same time with any combi. They don't come powerful enough. Make is irrelevant to that!

A high power combi will only work properly if your mains supply is good enough - you need to measure things...
