Egg box interior doors

We are wanting to attach some coat hooks to the back of our interior doors, although they are not solid doors. Is this possible, any tips?

It is possible, but as you can imagine, success is not always guaranteed!
Something like Screwfix 81956 usually works, if you use the exact size drill, and a 4.5mm screw - even using pva glue to help fix them.
Homebase stores have one of the better DIY selections of things like this, I find.

if you have a hole where a fixing has pulled out plasterboard metal fixings with no nails on the threads as back up

I used self adhesive hooks from a DIY shed and drilled and screwed for belt and braces. Short self tapping screws hold OK with a tiny pilot hole.
