Electri shaver socket.

There used to be a dimplex heater in my bathroom which has been removed but the old socket where it was wired still remains. Would I be able to change this into a shaver socket? If so, how do I go about it?

Probably not directly, as I imagine it's sited high up on the wall. However, if it is a fused connection/spur unit (or if it is actually a socket you could change it for a FCU) you might be able to use it as a source of power for a proper bathroom-rated shaver socket. But, as Plug has said, more information needed.
