Hi, Just bought a new electric ceramic hob. Can anyone tell me if i can wire this into a fused spur from a 13 amp socket or is this a strict no-no?

It has maximum 6kw load

sorry but it is going to need a proper cooker circuit.

This willdraw 26A at full load so (as Pluggy says) you need a dedicated circuit.

Minimum of 6mm cable with a 32A fuse/breaker direct from your fusebox. You'll need a registered spark to install one if you dont have one already. See www.competentperson.co.uk for someone in yr area.
