Electrolux NOT DRAINING

OK woman in need of DIY HELP!

My dishwasher flooded today! The water that won\\\'t drain is cold too.

My instruction book says if the machine won\\\'t drain to:
a)check the siphon
b) check the water drain hose connection

Any ideas where I find these? And what am I checking?

I know its pathetic!
