Hi, Hope someone can advise.
We have a bathroom toilet and an en-suite toilet in next door rooms. Toilets are connected by same waste which travels from en-suite to the right past bathroom and then to a right hand vertical soil pipe.
We had our bathroom renovated by a bathroom fitter in Jan this year. He says he didn't touch the soil pipe behind but simply replaced the toilet. We then had our en-suite done by same guy in May. Prior to him replacing the toilets, the old ones (ball cock filling handle flushes) worked fine. However, now if you do a No 2 in the bathroom toilet, the waste goes in to the en-suite toilet and that has to be flushed too. We have had other problems with smells since the bathrooms were refitted but this prob is the worst and I want to know a bit more about it before I challenge our fitter again. It is hard to see anything because soil pipes are all internal and fitter seems to be using this as an excuse for not doing anything.
Thanks for any help.
