Eufy system

I need to put in video cameras, and a video doorbell.

Started looking at what I thought were the. ‘names’ and in several reviews, the Eufy video doorbell 2k dual.
Which prompted looking at their other system components.

The S330 cameras with solar recharging and 4K video
The base station with local video storage, upgradable by adding any size SSD .

The big plus is no subscription for use, no monthly charge for video storage, and it stays under your control.

Welcome any comments on Eufy products, and if any reason to avoid.

dont use eufy but know people that do so we wouldn't recommend them to our customers.

That said dont know any that use solar, the issue with solar is whether you will get enough power during the day especially in winter months to charge them up.

cameras should be specified based on your needs in the area it is to be placed. you will need to make sure they are charged up especially iof you go away.,

Care to explain why yo7 wouldn’t recommend ?

I’m trying to find suitable system and so far Eufy seems better sp than the other diy systems.
