Hi,

We've had an ensuite put in with the loo in a seperate room on its own. I understand that the legislation says we need to extract from the loo as well as the bathroom. The loo is internal, do we have to extract to the outside or can we extract to a loft? I need to get the building regs signed off...

Advice please....

I would expect it to extract to outside, you can duct through the loft though. Otherwise you may get some not nice smells drifting back into the house via the loftspace lol.

I would have thought if you put a large vent from the loo room into the en-suite that would suffice, but if you use a separate extractor they always have to be vented to the outside.
