Hi,

Im about to get some renovations completed including replacing UPVC on the house and fitting extractors into the bathroom and ensuite. Ideally I want the extractors to work via the ceilings through an in-line configuraiton. However, Im unsure how to best to vent this. From reading on the net it appears the best approach is via the gable end, however both rooms are in the middle of the house and it would be quite a long run to either side ( roughly 5 - 6 metres ). So this leaves via a soffit vent or via a roof tile. I have read bad things about both approaches such as with soffits condensation going straight back into loft. What is the recommended best way to complete this.

Thanks

Steve
