I have an old Falcon 2 boiler (more than 8 years old), CH works perfectly. Just got back from 1 week away (so HW not used in that time) and the HW flow is very low and water is tepid (LED does not light when tap is on) . Before I went away HW to shower upstairs was erratic, hot then cold, but fine downstairs where the boiler is.

I am wondering if the flowmeter filter just needs to be cleaned or replaced? Or whether it could be something else?

Any ideas please?

Many thanks

Chris

There are all sorts of possibilities starting with reduced mains water pressure from the street.

Cleaning the inlet filter could be a good first check.

Thanks Tony

I don't think it's the street as cold water pressure is still very good - do you mean clean the filter in the flow meter?

Thanks
Chris
