boiler cutting out from overheating (prob heat exchanger slighly scaled or blocked up - boiler 7 years old) and noticed prob occurs when ext controls are satisfied, boiler gurgles and very nosiey then locks out.
Noticed pump not wired into circuit board and no permanent live, so corrected both, pump direct to board in PL E PN connections , and permanent live from spur into L E N connections.
Only the pump does not run when boiler on??
Noticed it starts once the boiler is off (SL is dead then PL becomes live)
Tested pump and pump fine.
No 240 at PL when boiler on, are the boards on these prone to fail on the pump over run part?
I am correct in saying i should have 240v at PL when boiler running??
