Hi all. Have a 0.5cm gap between a concrete drive and the bricks below the dampcourse.

The water run-off from the drive pushes fair bit of water towards house.

water doesn't run into gap and drain downwards very well

result is that a lot of water runs along the wall edge to drain.

Result is damp mossy bricks below dampcourse and frost blown bricks in winter

Concrete drive will be redone properly next year or so hopefully.....

But in meantime would like to seal gap and waterproof the bricks below dampcourse somehow so no more damage this winter.

Any brand/model recommendations for the gap sealant or brick sealer?

thanks.

Supply and apply Thompson water seal to your brickwork.

I have used it before and found it to be very good.
